Our 2025 River Alde Editions: Spring Gin is here! - just in time for Easter.

A herbaceous, floral gin distilled with gorse flowers and blackthorn blossom from the banks of the River Alde.

A note from our Distiller:

“Gorse flowers bloom from February through to early summer and Blackthorn flowers around late March/early April. I walked from the distillery to Snape Warren heath and carefully handpicked the bright, mustard yellow gorse flowers and the white sweet scented Blackthorn flowers. You only have to rub a few gorse flowers between your hands to release a surprisingly strong, almond and vanilla scent. 

Spring Gin delivers “a balanced, herbaceous impact at first, finishing with floral blossom notes and a lingering sweetness”. We recommend pairing with a light tonic, a wheel of lemon, and garnished with a gorse flower, this gin is designed to encapsulate the spirit of early spring on the Suffolk coast.
