Announcing our Autumn Explorer Tour for 2025!
We're excited to continue our collaboration with Suffolk River Trips and are delighted to bring you another fantastic opportunity to head back out onto the River Alde.
Join us on Saturday 25th October, leaving from the Quay at Snape Maltings for a 1.5 hour trip exploring the waterways which are so important to us. The excursion will see us explore parts of the River Alde which are a little closer to 'home'; and with insight from our friend & local birdwatcher Brian Small, you'll see a plethora of birdlife who call this beautiful area home.
Depending on the October weather, we hope to moor up at the jetty on the edge of the farmland where we grow some of our Fishers botanicals. Whilst supping an ice cold G&T (and hopefully enjoying some Autumn sunshine), you'll be able to take in the spectacular views up & down the river.
Once back on dry land, we'll stroll over to the River View Cafe at Snape Maltings to enjoy a wonderful lunch. We'll be sure to send out menus as soon as possible and will ask for a pre-order before the day.
NB. Parking will be available at the Maltings, please ensure to wear appropriate footwear & clothing.
We will be joining Sarah from Suffolk River Trips on their shallow draft launch 'Emily', she has to be moored outside their boat on the jetty at Snape, so there will be a requirement for guests to walk across one boat on to another so they do say some degree of agility is required to access this boat.
