'Tales of Alde' - a journey through historic Aldeburgh

Welcome to - 'Tales of Alde' - a journey through historic Aldeburgh; an insight into the beautiful town we are lucky enough to call home.

Join us for an hour, in our stunning Coastal Room, whilst sipping a Fishers Original Gin & Tonic (or tea/coffee) and listen while you're taken on a voyage through the streets of Aldeburgh. From stories of smuggling, to the history of the Moot & Jubilee Halls, all interwoven with the thread of the ever-changing North Sea. 

You'll take away with you a copy of our hand-drawn map of the town, with the landmarks listed; inviting you to explore further at your leisure.

'Tales of Alde' will be taking place on Fridays at 5pm throughout the season
